Eternal Darkness deserves a remaster, but an actual remaster and not an HD rerelease. Even without spells, it was easy as fuck to rip and tear through the entire game. Then you get to the last fourth of the game and they make it a boring slog where you're backtracking through the two worst areas. The worst offender is that as long as you're not a mouth breathing mong, you can easily bypass every single sanity effect, including the ones that proc even when you have 1% Sanity missing. You have to actively not use the Recover spell or you're not going to see the game's gimmick even on a Xel'lotath run.

I don't think anyone here said it was made by Nintendo, and I always remember that GX was made by Sega. That said, I really doubt we'd see a cooperation like this happening today, and even if it did, I don't think today Sega could make a game like that. I only mentioned "even if it was old Nintendo" because (as I said before) I don't think they'd cooperate with Sega nowadays anyways.
