From my experience of more than a decade of playing that shitty game almost daily, alliance are on general the people who take the game too seriously and get triggered by playing by the "bad" guys.

The horde ones are usually the more social and funny guys (the allies are fucking autistic) who don't care about the backstory of the game too much. There is significantly less RP on the horde side (nonexistent) than on the alliance side and this applies to any server, region, and even private/fun servers.

Justice didn't have the "limits movement speed" component in vanilla. The only thing it did in nilla was prevent npc's from fleeing in fear if judged, when their health is low. On players it did nothing. The limiting movement speed to 100% came only with TBC.

I thought paladin leveling was pretty bad until I went prot aoe grind build. If its an alt and you can make sure you always have a good shield with a spike on it it was pretty good. rotate the hp and mana seal/judgements to keep your hp/mana up. I'm just getting into FF14 now. I like that it's clearly designed to be expanded on in a way that WoW never was.
Levelsync was there from the start, all dungeons are always relevant. Alt classing is easy and meshes with that system too. Fates are easy to drop in and out of.
I know WoW is trying to do this too now but it's a very poor implementation in an engine that was never made for it. Why timewalking dungeons are a monthly thing is something I'll never quite understand, also they couldn't find a way to mix high and low level players effectively.
I don't feel like low level content will ever become obsolete in this game in the same way that it is in WoW which is a true shame since so many of the early expansions had great content that nobody ever witnesses now besides transmog runs where everything in the instance vaporizes in seconds.

I was wrecking everyone as a warlock even in MC gear.

PvP queues were horrible for horde side on my server, you had to wait like 30-40 minutes for an Arathi Basin while Alliance had instant invites, but I pvp'd for like 8 hours every day anyway when we didn't raid.

I had a lot of time for duels and the only thing I lost to were rogues with WotF. On alliance side nobody could stand up to me 1on1 and yet I kept getting buffed with basically every single patch.

I was laughing like a maniac when I read the death coil buff. I became a literal god of death in BGs.

By the end of vanilla I started to look for 1on2 exclusively since anything 1on1 was a 100% win for me.

Warrior vs warlock? Depends on the players, but I generally did not lose to warriors. Deathcoil and healthstone help you survive while a full stack of dots kills them.

Always thought it was a better idea to combine Diablo crafting mechanics to WoW, at least for vanilla private servers. Bosses drop tier specific crafting items that are combined with the raid zones rare/epic trash loot (could include world drops as well) to create specific epics/set gear, but the stats are randomized and can't be rerolled.

Granted this was from the perspective of a guild lead on a small server that had attendance issue for MC/BWL. Being able to craft your choice set of gear, but the stats not always being the best would incentivize people to keep coming back to get the best available stats and adds a unique approach to vanilla raiding.

this is another good point. In duels I would usually be so kind to let them get off the charge, but in the open world or a battleground, unless a warrior got a jump on me, I would always send my invisible succubus in first while I kited the warrior

Just saying "vanish is broken" in trade chat was enough to ignite a flame war between rogues and everyone else. Rogues complained about how it sometimes wouldn't work, everyone else complained about how it was a free reset button back since like 1.2.

In vanilla yeah it's easy.

>siphon life
>shadowburn
>deathcoil
>immolate, and either get off a shadowbolt (if ur lucky) or usually a couple of searing pains
>hopefully inbetween u get a nightfall proc

>healthstone somewhere between all of this. preferably when MS debuff fades
