I haven't played titan quest, but it seems alright. I mostly put Grim Dawn lower because it seems like it'd have more story, and has a pretty cool setting/background, but it's actual story telling is ass and they never have any of the nice animated cut-scenes it started you out with, along with actual gameplay/mechanic complaints that I have. I would actually consider swapping TL2 and D3, too. TL2 was a literal attempt at making a D2 version of Torchlight, even kinda mimicing the story to an extent. However when I played around release, I found the game unplayable without my friend feeding me engineer shields on whatever difficulty setting we were playing on, and sinking HP stat didn't seem to fucking help at all, which made being a berserker hard. Then again, he also had trouble surviving without that fucking shield, so who knows. I don't think I really need to go on a rant about D3's faults, of which there are many.

That's why I mention game loop. You can change the way potions/leech works so that you WILL die if you fuck up without getting downright one-shot. Two-shot from full health (one-shot from 90% heath or so), for example, would be a good optimization point.
