Does the Steam version of Gothic 1 even run on Windows 7?

Gothic has like 3 acts:
1. Networking as a commoner
2. Exploring as a novice
3. Rip and tear as a hero
Its intentional. And i think Networking in video games is so rare, that alone, and on the top of that: Its very well executed
