Where is the promissed 1080p and 60fps on consoles?

The majority of console gamers don't even notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps.

I did a test with a friend that has an xbox one, I let him play vanquished at 60 fps on my pc and then without telling him I limited the fps to 30 and he didn't say anything, so I asked him if he noticed something different and he didn't know what I was talking about.

I really don't know, for me 30 fps is almost unplayable after being used to 60 for so long, well to be honest it depends on the game if it's an RTS it's acceptable but for example I've been playing everspace recently obviously at 60 fps and looking at a console gameplay of the same game running at 30

Been playing 60 for years on pc but I can be content with 30 if it is Consistent.
