Hacking your ds gives you access to the entire 3ds library, og ds (via flashcart) game gear, gb, gbc, gba, snes and one other that i cant remember, you can run the rom file through a program that makes it installable on a hacked 3ds. Ofc you could also just emulate, but i dont think thats what you meant. Also
