I really enjoyed the settings, had fub playing through the American Revolution, felt cool playing as Connor and scalping dudes from trees, still think that the tomahawk hidden blade combo has some of the most brutal animations of the games, and most of all I absolutely fell in love with the naval combat and was super excited when AC4 came out. Even after playing AC4 I still think AC3 has kickass linear naval missions that are still fun to replay.

I'd say all of the internet hates it.

My favorite pokemon games are Black/White and Diamond/Pearl unironically. First attempt of gens are always the most memorable for me and I don't care about post game content. When playing the third version, I always feel like I got scammed by nintendo for paying the same game twice at full price, and I can't enjoy the mediocre addition they made to already good games. That's why BW2 are the best second games, they're not like the first one.
