I thoroughly enjoyed WD1 and its DLC. Bought both twice (once for each gen). It's in my holy trinity of open world crime games - GTA IV and Sleeping Dogs being the other two.

Anybody who defends this game has been brought up playing games with an old AF PC and is used to popping while driving and frame drops when basically anything happens in the game.

That engine was not ready for launch, the graphics were admittedly nice and I liked the fact that every NPC had something unique about them..

The story was a fucking disgrace and the sequel fixed every problem I had with this game apparently, I'd never buy a sequel to a game I didn't like..
