There are the only fighting games I've ever invested more than 5 hours (and played around their release):
-Tekken3 PS1 (owned)
-MvC2 Dreamcast (friend's)
-some GG on PS2 (friend's)
-SSBM GC (friend's)

I'm looking at GGRev2 and getting some nostalgia form the only weekend I got to play that franchise. Problem is that the fucking thing costs 49€ instead of $39 (which should be 35€ at best but alright) and I'm not sure I'd be down to learning fighting games from scratch without friends.

TL;DR - How likely is that GG Rev or Rev2 will get a discount on the EU store within the next 2 months?
Are Dizzy/Jack-O good starting points?

They can easily make HOS moveset without time travel bullshit in this game by some plot point like Sol losing his Fireseal, making him rely on a slab of concrete. When you pick Sol in the character select screen you can either go for that version or his normal one.

You were right about doing it with the 2nd method. The pause from the hitstun of the jab is just enough for inputting the jump beforehand then doing the dp immediately. The rest of the combo was also so goddamn frustrating because tatami gaeshi has to hit at the exact spot the combo wants it to else the chain AA grab wont connect.
