Right up until you leave Midgar and the setting immediately flips from grungy cyberpunk dystopia to generic JRPG fantasy.

I really don't care for FF VII. Turn-based combat is better in games like Etrian Odyssey.

Back in the day it was the hottest game around, don't get me wrong.
