Asuka has a reversal not a parry which is chickenable meaning a player can reverse the reversal. I use king and lee who both have hop knees which ignores reversals.

King has a both kicks reversal which guarentees a ground throw and also a right punch reversal. The kicks reversal is unchickenable but I'm not 100% sure about the punch reversal.

You'll be impressed how effective modeling/hollywood makeup and make up artists can be, there is a reason why you need qualifications to be one for either, and why the 'good stuff' in the make up world is so damn expensive.

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK/Injustice have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.

The better you get at this game, the more enjoyment you get from matches. I love that. In SFV, there's a really low ceiling on what you can even do in a match and everything gets repetitive very quickly. In T7 though, the matches just get more crazy and intense. I'm in love with this game.

Are you talking about Stagger Kicks (d+3+4, 4, 4)? Just hold down and back the moment you recognize it's happening, and you should be able to block in the middle of it. Then afterwards, it's got a lot of recovery on block, so you can launch punish.

They're more move strings, not true combos. If your opponent fails to block when possible, you'll pull them off, but otherwise no.

It's useful to set the cpu in practice to block after the first hit to see which of your combos are actually true combos and can't be escaped

Stop basing so much on the pop up text. It's sort of like how Guilty Gear (Or was it Blazblu, both?) has a combo counter pop up in red text. The text will change to grey if the opponent had a chance to get out of the combo that they didn't take. The combo number will keep going up however instead of restarting over at 1.

This is much like that, only the text doesn't change color to let the opponent know they could have escaped.
