What was the last steam gift you got?

I stopped giving gift when I found people were trading them.

I don't think I've ever received a steam gift.
I've gifted people for birthdays and christmas though.

tfw friends won't even gift you a game with the offer to pay them back so that you can play with the group.
I need better friends.

I haven't gotten any gifts from friends since someone jokingly got me bad rats a few years back. I sometimes give shit to people on >leddit or those holiday begging threads and have bought things for friends, and while it would be nifty to get stuff back I don't really expect to. Giving people things hoping that they'll pay it back later is pretty autistic and shallow.

I got a copy of RE4 from a chill anon on /b/ for posting a cute puppy though. That was really nice. Fun game, nice reminder that this place can be really cool sometimes.

I befriended another Anon who gifted my Hotline Miami, so I eventually returned the favor and gifted him Reflex Arena on his wishlist.

Got this short but fun VN in Christmas. I absolutely love when people gift me VNs since I love to read.

bought 5 copies of rising storm for my friends but its boring so none of us play it anymore. before I bought the same group of friends Deathwing but it also ended up being boring shit so no one plays it either. I've learned my lesson, I'll let these people buy the game themselves because it's probably gonna end up being shit and no one will paly it within a week.

Nah. I mostly play single player games. I've only ever played TF2, Alien Swarm, and L4D1/2 for multiplayer. Probably my fault since I only get salty messages from fighting games.

I was hyped when I got gifted Dragons Dogma though
Last game I gave was Putt Putt Balloonarama

I think it was XCOM 2. I have yet to play the actual game. Spent hours making characters and backstories though. Then I switched computers and I forgot to bring over the characters I created. The HDD still has the files so I can just go get them, but honestly that could be a while. Plus I was never that good at XCOM EU/EW even though I liked it.

Friday the 13th, from someone I never even talked to prior to that point, it's fun. It's also the first steam gift I got in like two years.

Back when you could find the stats from the steam browser ad-on, it said I had spend over 2,300$ on gifts. That's about 300 dollars more than I spent on myself.
