why is Cordelia written like that?

Why is it a problem for a character to be written for NTR purposes?

Cordelia is intersting because her character arc fails; she's miserable, then you go through her supports, see her grow and try move on then get married to someone else.

And then Severa comes along and we see she failed, she couldn't give up on Chrom and although she may love her husband, her marriage is still unfulfilling, enough that she winds up just sleeping around in response to it.

How often do you see a character degenerate though the course of their arc? Their growth fail and they end up worse than they were? Almost never, especially among the main crew/good guys.

It's far more unique than Titania.
