When you main the 'Dorf, every battle becomes a contest of timing rather than reaction. Honestly zoning and perfect shielding is my worse area and 'Dorf eliminates all that. But that also means we'd be on even ground. Meaning it's a 50/50 chance. Sakurai knows this which is why he mains him.

As a Ganondorf main, I call bull on this. There is no proof as far as I know, people are only basing it off that one video where it showed him playing as Ganondorf. One dumbass made that assumption just because he picked Ganondorf and the word spread. He wouldn't have made his attacks so fucking unsafe compared to the other heavies if he actually liked playing as him.
