I haven't played Dota in 3 years. I think I played a little bit when they first moved the rosh pit but only for a few days and nothing since then.

Invoker mid, would be able to handle PL and TA fairly well, Slark shits all over drow mid/late game, and if he gets a silver edge cent wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Viper is probably the best overall pick. Slark dumpsters pretty much all their heroes besides Cent (PL with a diffusal might be an issue for him though), and they have enough AoE to deal with illusions. Cent isn't much of a threat without much followup, which none of the heroes on dire have

any midgame mid hero works because the enemy team will be extremely weak early and midgame due to their amount of cores

invoker seems like a good choice but he traditionally has a poor matchup mid against TA and PL so perhaps another hero that excels against those heroes might be better (ember spirit)

if its a pub sniper (just for the range which radiant could use more of and then you build mjolnir on him to fuck with PL and TA) or some other hard carry because the enemy team has 3 carries and little support but your team won't know how to punish this setup properly and let the game drag because its a pub game

if its a tournament match I don't know probably some mid range hero with high burst damage to punish hard

Invoker probably. Tons of synergy with pudge and tusk. Slark can pick off drow and zeus easily and get silver edge for cent. Invoker should be careful in mid against TA though.

Slark's snare too but he probably shouldn't be stealing kills from Slark in this setup because Slark will have things hard enough as is

Assuming slark+wd safe and Tusk+pudge offlane, Radiant needs a mid.
Pick ember, crush TA mid, farm heroes since everyone on dire will be so weak for so long.
Alternatively, pick dragon knight to trade farm mid and then just use his pushing power.
