honestly it worked out well for me. I was writing a book with a similar thing going on with the dragon companion being bound to the hero with a piece of armor that he can't remove, and it covers more of his body as he uses his abilities
so now at least people wont think I was ripping off the game since I had the idea first. I actually got really annoyed when I saw the reveal for this game because I knew what people would think
