someone posted the OP image like a week ago saying leaks from NeoGAF but they refused to post links and looking for it there was no sign of his images there or the videos he claimed were there nor did it pop up anywhere else like he claimed it had; week later now he made his fake video to support his japes but it's too late because to fix the most blatantly fake parts would blow his cover

if it is somehow real it's gonna be the biggest trainwreck HAL's put out in a very very long time based on details and how utterly unprofessional these screenshots are

I don't mind the 3D, but I've been playing Amazing Mirror lately and I'm impressed with stuff like the backgrounds and some of the sprite animations

I think you have a very good point, there's an amount of detail that goes into the sprites that just isn't there in 3d. it's not just nostalgia either, kirby 64 also felt a bit bland.

3D graphics never really work out for 2D platformers. The controls almost always feel off when they do that, Kirby isn't an exception. And personally I don't care for the aesthetics of the models but that's even more subjective.
