I just can't type fast enough

Started Skullgirls 2 days ago. Play an with keyboard and pretending it's hitbox. This is my first real fighting game. Why the fuck do I suck so much? Why are "basic beginner" combines like 30 moves long? How do I even reset to neutral? What do I even do in neutral? And how the fuck do I stunt double? It's the one thing in the tutorial other than the IPS combo shit I can't do. Am I supposed to hold block while I input the stunt double, or do I let go? I can't pull it off no matter what I do, and the command list doesn't even show every input I do.
I regret every time I go online because I just embarrass myself. I bet the game'll be rad when I'm competent at it though.
