I personally hope there's anarea dedicated to lovecraftian lore, it would make for some really fucked up imagery and atmosphere as well as brain-destroying puzzles.

But what we get currently is just post-Lovecraftian shit, not pure Lovecraftian. Pure Lovecraft shit would be impossible to defeat in a videogame because the player would be supposed to be helpless against it.
