It does because it's a portable. Most multiplats are 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbone. The same game with identical or near-identical graphical fidelity and framerate is possible on the switch at about 960x540 resolution (basically Vita resolution in a true 16x9 ratio that's 1/4 of 1080p). The same game could be 720p docked. That's acceptable for everything. Lower the graphical fidelity by reducing texture resolution and effects and you can bump that up but I don't think you need to. Dynamic res games could scale down to Snakepass resolution but I wouldn't go further below this or it would look like shit.

I would love a portable Witcher 3 at console settings and 540p resolution portable. It's absolutely doable with the hardware.

I loved the wii U's library of games, and the switch seems to largely be a continuation of that library, so I'm glad many of these great games are getting a second chance on a more marketable platform. Goes to show you that games seem kind of irrelevant when it comes to console sales, for the first 2 years of the current gen Xbox one was killing it with exclusives, yet sony managed to outsell them 2 to 1, marketing is everything.

Disgea 5 is quite good, granted it's cheaper on the ps4 but the portability is quite useful for a game like that. Mario kart 8 is great too, as well as a good smattering of indie releases (Fast racing neo, blaster master, Wonder Boy).

I would say wait for christmas when Arms, Mario Odysey and Splatoon 2 are out, but there is a good chance that it will be hard to get one during the holiday rush.
