I wouldn't. The wikipedia article spouting NPCs, the general lack of AI behaviour as well as the copy pasted dungeons and leveling enemies make me rank it much lower than Gothic. Morrowind is good in its own way, but Gothic kicks its ass for days in terms of game design and immersion. I'm not even hating on Morrowind. In a way that's part of its charm. Trying to see how far you can break the game is half the fun late game.
