Fishman arc is nothing special, but it adds things in the end that will be important in coming arcs.
The next arc, Punk Hazard is okay overall, but has some great fun moments, but forget about great fights.
Dressrosa starts really great with the coliseum, but shit gets boring for while after the Coliseum until the final showdown against the big bad.
Zou is short but great with more story that links the past and gives more intel for the future.
Big Mom's arc have been great so far.

However, dressrosa was the worse. The story of Law (And rosinante) was great, Doflamingo was great, but holy shit it added ton of useless character we didnt care about and it was spread out so much. It was also very long.

Water 7 was fantastic.
It's because it had some mystery in it and wasn't a straightforward "here's the bad guy, beat him up".
Especially since Franky was build up as one, until the twist happened.
Everything else from there was straightforward shit, expect Shabondy Archipelago and Impel Down.
I mean I see where Oda is going. He is trying to introduce underworld elements and devil fruits (and their attempted bootlegging) with Punk Hazard/Dressrosa, but he can't seem to focus on it.

The current arc is fantastic though.

Fugo is the one people usually complain about but I feel Sandman and Wekapipo also had great potential to be great characters with good motivations but it feels wasted. Someone like Enel who can render himself intangible, move at lightning speed, revive himself, and then use his DF powers to extend his haki powers and have hearing the circumference of an island isn't on equal ground with someone like say that D-lister dude who could flick explosive boogers.

Also for a battle shonen the quantity of great fights is a pretty low ratio to mediocre fights. Don't get me wrong; when One Piece has a good fight it's better than every other show, but you'll only see a fight that great like 6 or so times out of One Piece's 800+ episodes. Otherwise it's not the kind of thing you watch for fights

Also the waifus aren't top tier sexy like something like Fairy Tail. They're not even Dragonball tier to be honest

he was holding back hardcore against Usopp. If he ever thought Usopp was actually a threat to him he would bust out gear 2 and Usopp wouldnt even be able to see him. Usoppu is smart and very resourceful but there is just no way he could ever beat luffy.

This is pretty horse shit any you know it. I love usopp to death as a character but there was no way he would have killed luffy unless you give him some batman level prep time BS. Luffy would just tank most of his shit he had available at the time even if he was using sogeking tech. Meanwhile luffy really would only need to get in 1(one) meaty hit and he'd be down.
