Same here. DS was the second Mega Ten game I played after Persona 3. Beldr was this game's casual filter. I had to drop the game for a few months, but when I went back I beat it on my first try.

I only remember Wendigo, Beldr, Lucifer and the Boss Gauntlet at the end being particularly hard.
Everything else was challenging, but more or less easily manageable.
