Any of the ones written by Kinoko Nasu, yes. If you want to see who the guy/girl you were playing as was, emulate Fate/Extra for PSP. You can have the Saber, the fox or the Red Man as your servant. The gameplay is dull but it's a similar brand of weirdness. There's a superior sequel to that called CCC but I hope you learned Japanese if you want to play that.

You can also read the original Visual Novel if you care to, Fate/Stay Night. Written by the same guy, the foundation of the whole setting, and generally full of hype shit that gets weirder the deeper you go. Origin story for the Red Man, and a shittier version of the solid gold man. Be warned though, the translation is fanmade and kind of bad, and the plot is interspersed with waifushit, slice of life, and COOKING.

Jeanne is in a similar situation.

Artoria is pretty meh early on, she's an okay farming servant but there are far better than her for it and she'll get powercrept very quickly.

Atilla is meh.

Waver is fucking fantastic and the second best support in the game and the second best servant overall, so long as he keeps the free buffs he's gotten in Japan at launch - which is what happened to the Chinese client, making it very likely.

If you're re-rolling for a five star then make it Waver.
If you're re-rolling for a four star then either go for Herakles or EMIYA.

Altera is a pretty good Saber, her skill set is a bit meh (no charisma, her skills only buff herself) but she has very high stats.

Artoria is an OK saber, worse stats than Atilla but she has Charisma which is a team + atk buff.

Waver is still great hilariously enough, when the game started he was absolute shite (his buffs i think maxed at 10%, when they redid him they changed it so that his buffs max at 30%, so thats +30% atk and deff for the entire team and each of his buffs increases the parties NP gauge . He's the one you'll want to roll for.

Thing is a lot of the 3*'s can be decent enough, Lancer Cu for example is hard to kill because all of his skills are based on surviving.

When i was fighting Galahad in Camelot i was getting my shit slapped (and i was running with Atilla + Cu alter amongst others).I managed to beat him by borrowing a friends 3* euryale , wrecked his shit.

The visual novel explained that shit. His fighting style is meant to trick experienced fighters by projecting certain moves and then doing something completely different. It was a perfect skill to fuck up her instinct because she reacted perfectly to what he was doing, except she was actually opening herself up to Souichirou's real attack.

It's also a strategy that only works against an opponent once. It was a perfect storm of fucking Saber's shit up, and failed against Shirou because he'd seen through the strategy by the time they crossed blows.

I love the idea of mythical and historic heroes set in a Battle Royale type scenario. I feel like the series itself gets caught a bit too much in character drama however, Apocrypha is a perfect example of that. What should have been a neat idea of teams of heroes and villains fighting one another degrades into how much Jeanne d'Arc wants to get into the bone zone with Siegfried.

Ironically that shit mobile game Grand Order avoids a lot of this since the protagonist is entirely blank slate.
