Well Mania is a 2D classic-sonic style tribute game featuring remastered locations, and some new ones. It's basically Sonic 4, if we pretend that the aACTUAL Sonic 4 doesn't exist.

Sonic Forces is a 3D Sonic game in the style of Generations (High-speed Unleashed/Colours-style tracks), along with classic style sidescrolling levels. Forces is also introducing a seemingly more Avdenture-style gameplay option with the third character, in which you can create your own OC and give him various toold to travel through the levels.
