I'm pretty awful at big ass combos and i'm mostly from a Street Fighter background so i've just been hitting people with ROCKET PUNCH from optimal ranges for big damage. Only combo I can even do is b+3,2,2 in a juggle maybe. Only other move I use frequently to abuse is f,f+1. Otherwise I don't know JACK shit on what i'm doing other than trying to get them to the wall and mashing buttons to damage out the wazoo. I don't know what his good "get off me" moves are.

Right, so it's back, back, down/back, back. After that first one? You alternate down/back and back. You don't need to do 2 backs anymore (back, back) because the down/back is also counting as the first part of the backdash.

So what really helped me, and some kind anon was who explained it, is think of it as an Instant airdash. You have play BB/GG? It's the same exact concept, just in opposite directions. In fact, I flipped my controller around and had it down almost immediately.

Except that isn't true. Tekken doesn't register db input as b. The trick is to release db to neutral in such a way that it goes through b position. If your input reader looks like db b db b you aren't getting any backdashes.

I don't hate it, but there isn't a single memorable track in the game. Top of the Mishima tower is one of the only tracks that manages to be interesting, but not memorable.

What I hate the most is that in the campaign, the Hon Maru stage has the Tekken 5 intro soundtrack's remix (Heihachi & Kazuya fighting Jacks), but in 1v1's the soundtrack for it is some generic temple soundtrack.
