The crossbow is actually great at clearing trash, but it depends on the map, you need to penetrate groups of enemies for it to work well and you need to be able to pick up bolts after.

Although I have to say that the Kris is really fucking underwhelming. Its MP5 + P90 for the entire game for me, although I have not gone past Suicidal with my Swat yet. I want to get past at least Level 20 to get the start with full Armour unlock.

I wish I knew how this game worked better with knowing how to take out the right Zeds with the right weapons all I kinda get is Flashbanging Scrakes and then shooting the shit out of their face.

I posted how I thought in a previous thread awhile ago and someone agreed, which was cool cuz I thought I was the only one.
I was under the impression that the descent was going to be this randomly generated maze or maze type thing that you would have to fight zeds and try and escape. That hyped me up beyond belief. I'm a real sucker for escape levels or gamemodes especially in multiplayer. I got real let down when I played it and found out it was actually just the same 5 small square rooms each round and not a maze/escape thing at all.

It IS a precision class by nature, you're supposed to be going for headshots anyway. That being said, Bone Breaker helps on the Patriarch seeing as he already takes more damage from hitting his squishy arm than his head

The reload speed skill down the line helps, but the secret is to start a reload just before Zed Time ends. They get a reload speed increase during it that not only stacks with the skill, but carries over once Zed time ends, making the reloads barely 2 seconds long

Get the starting skill that cuts the recoil from hipfire, it makes life easier. You only really need to iron sights if you're trying to plink a Siren or Bloat before it gets close

Depends on what I am fighting at the time to be honest. I try and burst fire more than anything though, its too satisfying not to.

I guess its just the general impression of the gun, its small, the gunfire "sounds" weak in comparison to the other two. I understand that its stronger than the other SMGs but running with both the MP5 and the P90 and having spare dosh I think suits me better.

I usually grab the EBR once I have enough money around round 6 which is great for taking out Scrakes. Aside from that though the SCAR can stun big zeds enough with headshots that I can usually take individual ones down on my own save for Fleshpounds unfortunately.

It's fun while you're still trying out the weapons but gets stale because it's a fucking zombie horde defense that barely changes between rounds. Played around 10 hours of it in Early Access before they went full jew with micro-transactions instead of actually developing/polishing the game. My first Early Access buy and I regret it.

but they have no real pathfinding, so without the jump they would get stuck everywhere. Every stairs handle rail, they would get stuck on it, unable to realize that they simply need to walk down/up and go around it. Stuck on every bit of pointless trash/rubble on the ground, again unable to realize they just need to stop moving forward, turn slightly to one side, and continue walking forward.

TWI can't into pathfinding. They had a hard time with mocap. Mocap. You know, that thing you basically import in, slap some textures over, and are done? This is TWI, they make solo man indie dev teams that make generic platformer games look like coding masters.

Skip ahead to 32:20 and watch how as soon as he kills Hans and the camera changes perspectives his rounds keep hitting the boss's head. Instead of adding crates and DLC in early access they should have focused on getting the content they said they were going to do done.

I happily refunded the game when it launched because I was burned out on the same boss and no new content for a long ass time.

When I looked again there was 1 new class 1 more boss and 3 maps. Not enough to get me back into it. Refunded. A shame because I DID enjoy it.

I've noticed he misses shots as well, but if he is using aim assistance in any way, it would make sense to show him missing from time to time, especially when the comments in previous videos make accusations nonstop. I'm sure there are programs that let you turn features on/off with a press of a button as well. even though I had 2000 hours in KF1, never went past hard due to it just becoming a 3 hour game of kiting as zerker/medic. that's not fun, that's tedious as fuck.

heard KF2 has better difficulty but playing past hard probably requires a team that works together, good luck getting that in pick up games.
still, every game is just standing around the same area, killing the one or 3 zeds coming at your from the right, and then needing to turn around to kill the other few zeds coming from behind. then turn to the sides to do the same, then rinse repeat.
anything higher is probably kite city or "use one of two perks as the rest are trash" type stuff.

I prefer big waves coming at me at once, not a few little bits of them coming from every side. doesn't feel like a zombie invasion, more like a few rag tag groups shambling towards me.

in KF1, it was pointless to play beyond hard, and you only played hard because normal was too easy at perk level 6.

I don't think that's an aimbot my friend. When you kill the boss and shoot during the zedtime after, your shots always lock onto the ragdoll. No idea why this is but you can try it and see for yourself.

If you played with randoms, there was a chance this would happen, yes. Nothing you can do if your team can't hold a position without getting overwhelmed. Obviously Zerker and Medic were broken in KF1, but if your team was constantly falling back on that kind of crutch, you really should have thought something was wrong with the team itself.

I've beat Hell on Earth several times with randoms on KF2. You just need to get lucky and find a good server with good players. Other than that, even Suicidal is relatively easy to beat with randoms as long as everyone on the team has half a brain. I do find strange that you never even tried to go to Suicidal. What you say is basically "It's probably this way so it's not worth finding out if my assumption is true".

Then play Hell on Earth. I seriously don't understand how you are trying to pass off your argument about the game as anything but something completely uninformed when you admit you never played Hell on Earth. Hard is still babby's difficulty. Suicidal brings it up quite a few notches, and Hell on Earth even more which really makes it feel like you're having zeds come at you from every direction.

Beyond Hard is honestly when KF2 starts getting really good. Things start to sprint at you, husks start hosing shit down with flames, stalkers become the cuntiest cunts that ever cunted a cunt in cunt town, and other small improvements in zed behavior that make things pretty damn fun.

Don't forget albino zeds like the albino Crawler, the Elite Clot and the Gorefiend becoming stupidly more common. The Elite Clot makes ever zed except the large ones run at you even faster than they already do, the albino Crawler is a little shit who zones you out if you are camping a spot and don't kill them in time, and the Gorefiend is likely up there with the Scrake on how easy it is for one to fuck you up in a second and kill you.

The albino Crawler is probably the best idea Tripwire had in a long time. Creating a huge cloud of poison that forces you away from your position for a decent amount of time is a great way to make the game fun and not as "campy" as KF1 was, even if holding a position is still the prime way to approach a game on the higher difficulties.
