There's a guy on reddit who recently started working on Ao no Kiseki translation and finished the prologue. I wish the Kiseki community wasn't so small and full of autism so that the skilled and motivated people could work together and deliver a basic translation. All the QA and editing can come later since it could take a really long time if the person doing it happened to be a perfectionist or just wanted to fuck with the fans and had no deadlines to pressure them into finishing the project.

But it is passable, like it or not, the translation is not so ungodly terrible that you can't anything, it's on a "rough, but can be easily understood on the meaning.

What people don't get is that there's so much incidental text in this script. There's also the fact that I've been focused on the monster data tables, which are character count restricted. On top of trying to find a way to make them work so that I don't have to duplicate my efforts on both PSP and PC versions of this. If this is the PSP patch, a line can only have 22 characters, 23 at the most.

So when we're doing this and are already pulling our hair out, and someone basically straight up asks us why we even bother. It's really disheartening.

Most people have an aversion to people who act unmotivated due to stuff like this because most of the time what they provide in the end wasn't that great to begin with, or they are just luring for attention like that, kinda like the "i'll kill myself" faggot that was working on SC's script and held the translation effort back forever until he got fired.
