Basically, never let the artist dictate your game design, or telling your programmers that it needs to play like X, when X isn't actually possible for them to do and the programmers can't get back to them to discuss the project and the project manager isn't there to actually manage the project and is signing comic, tv and movie deals.

Still won't be buying anything dealing with MN9 though.

Ray incidentally plays better than beck because a melee charact makes more sense for the 'dash through the enemies' gimmick. Also her dash does damage.

It looks extremely forgettable, and thats being generous. Look at the difference between it and something like Shovel Knight. Shovel Knight has a hundred times more charm and great game feel because it was made by indie dev's who actually gave a shit, and weren't just trying to tap into a nostalgia market.
