Venom ruins BB's character. I used to genuinely believe BB had a hard life, but he didn't. He just forced some grunt to live his other life while he built up the real outer heaven. They both had it hard, but thanks to the split, Solid Snake ended up living the hardest life out of all the snakes.

the point of MGS V is that BB had built such an incridible legend about himself during Snake Eater and Peace Walker, everyone fell in love with the legend. Including Venom, Quiet and Diamond Dog troops. That's why Venom was even better, he was not an emulation of the BB. He was trying to literally brind the legend, the idealized BB, back to life.

And the fact that BB inspisred someone to become better than him, is why he was so aweome.

But Venom had a harder life.
