There are a million reviews but to put it simply, it's the most fun you'll have playing an SRPG, it also has a ton of content (as in 200+ hours worth), so if you're worried about getting your money's worth, don't be.
It's the game that makes the best use of the Switch's portability, so if that's something you do a lot, then it's even better. The specials are really cool, the girls are cute and the guys aren't bad either. There's something in it for everyone.

If you've never played Disgaea before I recommend emulating the PSP remakes of D1 and D2 to see if you like it first

if you like:
-poorly balanced games
-long special move animations with hundreds of different pre-rendered explosions and light flashes, tons of afterimages or blur effects, and minimal spritework
-characters that range from edgy-random to cute-random to random-random
-bad map design and terrible enemy AI crippling your opponents so that you can more easily chain SPECIAL MOVES
-no tactical challenges in a strategy game, only maps that are too easy to beat or enemies that your level is too low to damage
-MORE SPECIAL MOVES
-MORE EXPLOSIONS
-its way better than the 3rd and 4th titles that no one played
-why is this game even an SRPG it would make much more sense as a traditional RPG movement on the maps doesnt even matter all of your guys have like 10 move and 15 jump anyway
-SPEEEECIAL MOOOVES
