Right now I'd say PC.

The PS4 version's online is proper fucked at the moment but the PC is okay (it's actually got the same matchmaking problem the other two versions have but it seems less severe).

PC has better graphics, better performance, less input lag and better netplay. PS4 has issues with online play at the moment but historically the player base on PC fighters doesn't last very long, so the PS4 version may be the one to play in the long run.

Anyone reccomending netplay needs to start playing these games locally and with friends.

I have a GTX 970 which I know is stronger than the PS4 but my cpu is kind of weak, its an i5 4570 non-K which I think is weaker than the PS4 cpu. Can I run Tekken 7 on my PC?

Performance wise, PC is the way to go. Especially considering the fact that the arcade machines in japan were essentially windows 10 PC's. Problem is the PC crowd jumps around a lot with fighters. SFV made it all of probably a month before it was essentially abandoned

PS4 suffers a bit performance wise and has shit online right now but hopefully they'll fix that.

For those of you worried about PC population later on down the line, Harada has mentioned that he wants to implement crossplay later.

It's actually good that crossplay wasn't available at launch because the PS4 online play seems to have a lot of problems while the PC is pretty smooth. If they did crossplay and it hindered the PC's online capabilities, there would have been a lot of bitching from the PC community and it might have turned off potential buyers.

No, now that Sony is on top, they don't want crossplay with Xbone. Last gen it was Sony that was asking for crossplay but it was Microsoft that told them no.

It's so bare bones. Literally everything was done better in previous entries.

If you're going to play exclusively single player and offline multi with the occasional online session, PC is the version you want. Better performance, low latency,half the cost, higher resolution, controller options and mods. But of you are positive you want to get in for the long haul online and are against double dipping, PS4 is likely going to have a bigger and more diverse player pool.
