Haven't watched either, I'm going off my personal experience. I've watched Kuuga, Agito, Blade, Den-O (currently watching), W, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Amazons (season 1, waiting for season 2 to end to binge it) and Ex-Aid, loved all of them and would recommend all except Wizard and Ghost which I couldn't even finish.

If I had to pick a starting point, I'd say either Kuuga or W. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say Blade. Fourze is also very good if you want something a little bit more light hearted and fun than your average Rider season.

Innovation comes from necesity. If all of a society's needs are met with medieval-level technology, there's no need to innovate.

It's like when people say "why didn't Africa innovate?" Well ignoring the fact that all of the good minerals could only be reached with 19th century or better tech and some parts of Africa like Ethiopia were constantly innovating, the fact is the more tribal societies didn't require it.
