Removed tickets.
No reason to log in, and no reason to make a popular or fun place aside from "look at me" now.
I only log in to play the egg hunt (but refuse if they cheap out and don't make a dedicated place for it or if it's themed sponsorshit) and occasionally Halloween if it's not themed sponsorshit.
Made the game considerably less blocky, tried to make it more of a chunky but not as brick based. Lost the building block feel around the time of terrain, despite not getting rid of it entirely. Introduced new default animations and other such things. Free shirts are no longer a thing so people cannot give out stuff they made to their friends anymore and have to make it pricey. Pushing Builders club too much.
Most of all, promoting an image of "minecraft for kids who can't afford minecraft" on YT and other ad outlets.

There would also be a shitload of "____ obby!" that were all the exact same games but with a different thumbnail. I remember a fun game where you battled through a tower, shit was great. We went in parties of 10, I was the last man standing at the top of the tower after my wingman ate shit into an invisible enemy and managed to beat the boss (standard oozing oscar headed zombie) by abusing that it couldn't make it down the ladder hole and got stuck with it's legs sticking out. I had run out of all ammo and special weapons and spent 15 minutes sitting there shooting it with a pistol, but that badge was beautiful.
Looked back now and the game was deleted apparently.

Creativity basically fucking died and instead of having cool physics/sandbox/building places we now have games that are basically lite versions of real games or "RP" places that's basically online dating hubs, and all of those places are monetized to hell and back to make as much money off of children's mother's credit card as they can, I've been playing since 2007 and it makes me depressed to see all of this
