I wish they'd kept Scourge as a combo finisher too, but I honestly don't feel like DRK took that big of a hit in overall complexity. Power Slash was just as much of a nonfactor in HW as it will be in SB, and Delirium vs Souleater were never really two distinct combos so much as they were "Do you have the MP to use a Dark Arts on this combo? Y/N". It's not really any more 1-2-3 than it ever was.

The only thing I wish they'd done would be to increase the maximum size of your MP pool and/or Blood Gauge (without buffing the rate at which you accumulate either of those things). DRK's whole deal for SB seems to be taking advantage of party buffs and DPS windows by being able to store up MP/Blood and then release it all at an opportune moment, but the cap on MP and Blood is so low that you can only realistically store up about 4 extra attacks' worth between the two of them. If you could save up more like 6-8 of them without worrying about maxing out either gauge, that would really let you direct where your damage goes most effectively.

It does basically nothing in Stormblood. It's a basically-ignorable 5% damage buff, for only 15 seconds with a 90 second cooldown. I actually had more fun leveling my second and third class because I was able to just go out and level off monsters/hunting logs/dungeons freely. Not limited by dumb story.

I dunno about that. Break and Esuna were pretty much already shared between all the healers, Cleric and Protect were mandatory picks for every single one as well, and Lucid Dreaming is probably closer to the AST version than the WHM version of the same skill, with the increased duration.

The only thing that really got 'took' from them that felt like it belonged to them was Divine Seal - and they did get pretty fucked on that one considering that Largesse is a straight downgrade from it in every way, while AST kept the other half of Synastry.

The issue is more that all the healers should have been given Esuna, Protect, Swiftcast, and Lucid Dreaming for free, and then have five slots on top of that to choose between that add actual fun/interesting optional abilities.

When you go to learn something like a DRG skill, you don't actually go out and do something related to that skill.
