ITT: Hidden gems

Theresia Dear Emile is the absolute hidden gem. It's a master piece.

Empire Earth was so good, but Jesus Christ it's an ugly goddamn game. Unit pathfinding and the camera in particular weren't anything to write home about. That said, I wish there were more games with alternate history campaigns like it and its sequel had.

ATTACK WITH SHARPENED STEEL
EE has a huge amount of nostalgic value for me but It's probably correct that it's remembered mostly for being hugely ambitious rather than achieving those ambitions
I liked how the russian campaign eventually ended up with you going back in time to the first campaign mission

I never really understood this game's morale system and purpose of houses, but I was also 9 at the time. I remember the New Russia campaign was pretty sweet.
