Just got a ps4 a few days ago with this, mainly to see what ps4 pro is capable of in terms of visuals.

Was pleasantly surprised with the combat, the reliance on limited tools makes it feel pretty great. Of course it's not tuned in a way that it's required, but it feels nice thinking strategically and using all your options and planning a battle ahead of time.

Otherwise, story is boring, characters are shit, voiceacting is horrible at times. The visuals are almost as good as what you can get on a pretty good (not full-blown enthusiast-tier) pc nowadays.

I liked it (specifically the solid bow gameplay and chipping away at robot parts) but the human combat was such shit. If they touched up on robot stuff and overhauled human combat for the sequel it'd be goty contender

True. It could have been so great but it ended up with repetitive gameplay, being way too fucking short and having a very average story with very little to get attached to.
Game directors should learn to make origin stories when they don't have a good personal story that fits in the gameworld they are making.

It would have been so much better to make an origin story because then it would make sense to do a ton of exposition etc. to the lore of the world.
