Rain World is a game people will be talking about 10 years from now.
It certainly has an interesting aesthetic. Just wish it didn't feel like I was constantly fighting the controls when I play it.
It's okay.
Kinda reminds me of Another World.

At last!
I know nothing about this game other than some short clips, the slugcat looks cute though.
4 hours in and I'm at the drainage system or whatever it's called
>checkpoint is BEFORE a lengthy transition to the new area
>area consists of water filled tunnels that you can easily drown in
>unclear where to go in order to not drown
>every time you die you have to go back and experience the level transition again
>can't even get through the level transition without being a certain level, and you lose levels on death
>level contains a plant you can eat to preserve your level after death, but the spawn point is either random or gets progressively further away from you each time you die
It's a fun game, but absolutely not worth this hassle

There's a save point if you go down from the first floating platform then head right through the tunnel it takes you to.

>Not just backing up your save each time you hibernate and using it whenever you die to keep your karma level

This game was such a disappointment after Hollow Knight.

>that fucking stupid ass karma system
definition of artifical difficulty
No ones talking about it now.

Great aesthetics, great technology (ai and physics) and all wasted on dumb unispired metroidvania mechanics straight from early 2000.
