Pretty much. I played it when it first came out. There's not much to do except repair generators. That's why I can't understand why people keep saying F13 has no content. DbD literally only had one thing. Die or repair generators. That's it. No way to fight the killers. No real way to escape outside of generators. They safe room wasn't working properly in the game at the time. The lobby was garbage as people left constantly because they weren't playing with friends. Killers would leave and kill the game because they were usually host.

This is an absolutely ridiculous assumption that you have not a single shred of evidence to back up.

The objective to any game is to win. The majority will always go for the easiest option to accomplish that goal. This is not some thought process that was created because of DBD's existence. F13 provides people a quick and efficient way to kill the counselors. After all, that is the objective of playing as Jason, kill the counselors, not scare the counselors. Players aren't rewarded for ambushing or scaring people. They get big points for killing everyone regardless of the method they use. So why should they for the harder to achieve one? Hell, the fucking game provides them with the ability to do instant kills and warp around the map first. The spook ability doesn't come until much later. They give Jason players enough fucking traps to trap every objective area and never have to worry about it.

If you're pissed that Jason players are taking the easy route, take it up with the game itself. Blaming a bogey man is retarded.

People have fun by winning. They get awarded for their actions in the game with experience points.

They can't fucking do that when the Jason pops up out of nowhere, right in front of them, with no warning, and just deletes them from the game. No struggle, no fight, not even a chase. The game just ends without any gameplay. I'd understand if it was a fucking ambush where he burst through the wall and corners you, uses stalk to stab through the wall and gut you or appeared around a corner you were about to turn when you thought you lost him. That's all typical fucking movie tropes. But Jason has the ability to just pop up in front of you and uninstall the game before you had a chance to react.

It also can't happen at the start of the game because Jason doesn't have Shift and a character like that can easily run to Jason and to other counselors.

It's worth it if you have friends you can play with. There are still some bugs, but overall its a good time. It really should be a 20$ game and I don't see it lasting long for console players, but I don't regret my purchase on steam.
