Gameplay and controls are shit.
Levels are small but generally well-design.
Soundtrack and everything audio is top notch.
Graphics are subpar by today's standards, but looked amazing back in the day.

Not bad if modded with the sneaky upgrade. Not as good as the previous ones, but a good conclusion to the series imo. If you liked Thief for the gameplay there's a lot of fms worthy of being played, if you liked the games as a series go for it.

I totally loved it. Main protag's voice actor has the sexiest voice. No homo.

It is good enough considering that everything else is garbage. It is also a bit clunky.

First and foremost, I'm referring to the movement. Garret runs awkwardly, turns slowly, has trouble jumping over waist-high obstacles and climbing up ledges in general. Compared to the original games, the movement is abysmal.

Then you have a very high-friction physics of movable objects. It's hard to describe, but it makes it hard to push creates in a controlled manner. To this, I would also add very rigid rag-doll physics.

Bow mechanics aren't too bad, but then again, it's pretty simple. Fighting with a dagger is tough, because it's easy to miss the enemy, and even if you do damage them, they barely even flinch. That being said, you should never be fighting close-range in Thief games in the first place.

So yeah, my main issue is with the way Garret controls. It's sluggish, inaccurate and just wobbly somehow.

I never dug the whole robot aesthetic, to be honest.
I much preferred dealing with pagan magic in the first game.

I liked zombie tomb raider featuring Pan and his funhouse.
However, the industrial setting in 2 capitalized on the strength of stealth rummaging through buildings and the trash textures and models look better as robots and steel

Because the third person layout was shit. I know you can play in first person but that was even more shit.
The keeper as a focus for the story was destroying the whole myth about them, which was a huge red flag for me. They trained garret and he learned all of his abilities from them but they are not more than better guards.

Well duh.Playing Thief undetected non-violent is pretty much the default.

Good game. I don't know why people hated it ( other than not being as good as Thief and T2 ) because it's really just quite nice all around. Essential if you love stealth.

Same, but the streets turning into a battle royale because of a man hunt was a bit too much. I'm conflicted though: I would have liked a deciated level just for them, but I liked the attempt to make the city part of the story, with sectiona based around those streets.

Alawys did this as a child cause i thought getting detected would have any consqeunces on dialouges between npcs. Like they won't hold the conversation because of the aggro. And i liked hearing all of them.

Changing dialogues betweens npcs according to your playstyle in Dishonored was a nice touch. I don't remember how deep that went, but by ghosting it recently any trace of conversations along the lines of "Corvo is coming" disappeared.
