This is unfortuently also true. I was worried that he'd bolt if I pushed him too hard, so I slowly walked him all the way back to a stable, only to find that he can't be registered. What's the fucking point, then? I would've preferred if they'd done something like require you to shoot X amount of Blupees in order to make him spawn, and then let you capture and register him as a reward.

It's right you can't stable him. However, they should have made his respawn reliable, basically every single day, the same time. And he shouldn't disappear when you dismount him and also wait for you where you left him.

At least after taming him for the first time.
