Killed the franchise. Grafix are great though.
They should bring it back to colonialism era-type stuff though, I don't like the future aesthetic.

Besides, part of the fun is making a nice-looking city, if you're looking to min-max the experience then ur a lil faget

I searched for a mod that removes the resource management from the game, but I couldn't find it. Instead I found something called revolution mod, it basically gives max resources and unlocks everything.

I wanted to remove it because it's annoying watching your revenue plummet to like -20,000 and have to figure out which buildings to shut off and what to do about it.

I found Anno 2070 so comfy, and so is 2205, and all I wanted to do was put buildings around the place and cover them up in greenery and decorate cities without worrying about industrial building efficiency.

If they created "Anno Comfy" I'd buy it.

Another problem I have with the last 2 games (the only 2 I've played) is that they'll give you a space that just isn't big enough to build the perfect city, there's always a compromise you have to make, for example having a symmetrical build but on one side, a single house won't upgrade when the other 3 corners will, so you have to demolish those other 3 so it looks symmetrical.

Anno isn't really about building aesthetic cities. By which I mean that it's definitely possible, but the purpose of the game is to be a trade and resource gathering simulator first and foremost.

It's terrible. It's like a reddit smartphone version of Anno... That is to say, it's only cosmetically an anno game. It doesn't play like one at all. It doesn't play like anything. There's no challenge and there aren't even randomized maps any more. There's no way to fail at the game. You just keep building stuff until you run out of room and then you move to the next map. It's a completely empty experience.

And take a look at these dams. That's ACTUALLY part of the game. 3 dams that all dump into a lake. Where the fuck does all that water go? That's the level of stupidity that created that entire abortion.

Anno 1701 and 1404 get my dick rock fucking hard. Nothing makes me more sexually excited than intense scrupulous logistical resource management that runs at high efficiency.

My first game was 2070 and i found it boring as fuck, gameplay was too simple for my tastes. Are older games any deeper than 2070? 2205 seems to be even more simplified.

In 1701 you don't have the multiple cultures/population types, just your own to level up, but there's more island trading involved and off shore production. 1404 combined that with needing to juggle different settlements that produce different foods, but it's been a while so I could be mistaken. The question is: have you played the settlers 1 or 2?

It's not. Combat has been revamped into its own minigame and the main focus is on comfyness and setting up trade routes.
