Yeah, well, it's not like they changed the actual subs. If you play with Japanese voices, it still uses the subs for the English voices. There's a scene that makes this extremely obvious, and it's when Revali's flying away and he turns to Link to laugh at him, but there's English subs that flash on the screen saying "Good luck sealing the darkness." or something like that.
