Not even fucking close. Nozomi had FAR more development as a character than Eli ever got. In fact, Nozomi's episode in S2 really highlighted it: Eli at that point onlh existed just to give Nozomi development, while the former herself didn't really matter in the grand scheme.

It really shows too because Nozomi is far more popular a character than Eli.

Love Live would have been better if it was just about Honoka, Umi, Kotori, Maki, Nico and Nozomi.

Love Live took a whole bunch of characters that could have been good with development, gave them less than half an episode to develop, and then turned all of them into the same boring, carbon-copy genki girl.

Literally any other musical anime is better.

You can argue all night long if you want but the fact remains: Eli is still one of the most unpopular characters in this website and at this point it's way too late to change that.
