I still have some questions about the story though, like what the fuck was up with Ky? That whole thing about "muh holding back" seemed so shoehorned in, considering Ky used to be pissy about not being able to beat Sol.

Well Ky has gear powers now, and it wasn't really holding back so much as fighting in a different way. Before he used to fight Sol like he would any human opponent, this time he fought him like he would fight an inhuman monster. The real reason he won is because it caught Sol by surprise.

This is what really messed with me. Is there any indication of Sol actually being scared in the older games? I'm all for fleshing out the characters but some of this stuff just seems really forced. Same with Raven, but that's just my opinion.

Its never explicitly stated, but its heavily implied. When funny mask man shoots Ky dead in Sign, Ky gets back up with his left eye glowing red and gets him with Rising Force. Later, when he is exerting himself in Revelator's story, we get the eye glow again.
Given how Sin wears an eyepatch over his right eye (as a power limiter, not because that one is missing), and his left eye is the normal one, non-glowy one, it stands to reason that he and Ky swapped left eyes at some point, which gave Ky some sort of gear power.

Anybody playing a bunch of people with shitty computers since rev2 came out? I'm getting a bunch of frame drops all over the place even though I have the fps counter on with no drops on my end.

Maybe it's because I'm in texas and I'm somewhat close to BRs and chileans or something.

Bought Rev1 yesterday and I really dig it, but I didnt find anyone to play against. All the lobbies across the globe were 0/64 and there was one private room that I couldnt join. Is this because rev2 is out or is it just COMPLETELY DEAD? Atleast fucking jojoba on fightcade has players, might just refund rev1
