the dash doesn't go far, but it ducks under punches, making it great for getting in a hit in when they grab
When stretched up, your arms are charged for as long as you stay up, which makes ice dragon even more powerful
Hit them with a charged blorb when they're close to blind them, then throw out a grab or rush
dodge left/right for straight punches, forward/back for curved ones
If you're playing on ninja college then use dual dragons for maximum spamming power

Physically moving your whole arm in a direction doesn't do much. Its all in the tilt/twist. If you hold them with stick facing up when you punch they will curve outwards. Punch with them facing down and they curve inwards. You can tilt less if needed, or adjust the curve somewhat after throwing it. Boomerang type weapons mostly go in the initial direction you throw them.
