Gothic 2 is pretty close, easily on par with Daggerfall and better than every other RPG. Gothic 1 is great as well and every single game of both series from 2006 onward is shit.

so I just paid the $2.50 for gothic II. seems like a fair price if i end up liking it
however when i click new game I get an access violation error
