You toggle a mode that turns on whether you're gathering normally or collectible gathering.

If you're doing collectibles then it's an entirely different system. You use different skills to affect it. Collectible turns in a required value needed to be turned in. Think of it like crafting. You raise the HQ chance and the higher the HQ chance, the better quality you get.

I'm doing collectibles at the moment to hand in to Rowena

So i've gone around to every node i've unlocked and 'revealed' all of the things so i know what they are.

Next time they spawn i can just do the collection thing and get the highest quality possible using my skills and then turn it in yes?

I am getting blue scrips for them - but i'm not sure what they do. Also the guide i'm following lists some things with (scrips) after them - so Abalathian Rock Salt for example has (scrips) written after it

This will show you collectable spawn time, and you can filter it so you only see stuff you can get.

Collectable gathering means turning on Collector's Glove and using stuff like Methodical Appraisal to raise collectability while keeping durability above under the max. If you hit ctrl+u you can open timers and look at what collectability turnins need, you want to shoot for minimum collectability and gather as many as you can.

It also shows some rotations, but they require 600GP so you generally want to devise your own that will get you over the collectability rating needed for turn in. You can turn in at Revenant's Toll or Idyllshire if you've reached there on a combat class (you probably have).

Turning in collectables is basically low effort and high experience reward. Then there's the daily GC turnins that still give great rewards.

Outside of that you could just pick something to sell and mindlessly pick away at it, but that's pretty fucking boring.

For collectibles, it's better to go for quantity than quality. Hit the minimum quality needed to be accepted and collect as many as you can.

The unspoiled nodes are the ones with the collectible that give a ton of exp and make leveling super fast.

The numbers aren't final, so everything can change, a lot of it is us being salty that there's no new attacks, and the damage buff we get actively fucks up our rotation by slowing us down.

However, this is overall a buff just looking at potency, it's just debatable if our buff and marginal party utility at all compares to the utility provided by Dragoon/Ninja.

There's a lot of power in community feeling though, on paper Monk might not even be a bad idea, but if everyone thinks it is you'll still be rejected from statics/some PFs.

Sometimes ARR stuff is still expensive too, usually unspoiled stuff no one thinks about, like Volcanic Rock Salt - easy as fuck to gather in good numbers, but on my server it sells for 1000 per because it's used for alchemy stuff still.

I would say SCH is still fine. Their dps may be a bit worse now but they still have 20% battle lit, which everyone will love.
MCH looks like it will be fine with its new 20% damage buff and increased potencies to make up for the loss of 20% guass.
WAR is still a decent off tank with muh octuple fell cleave.
WHM is literally dead. MNK is cucked for life. SMN is not cucked as much but still pretty cucked.

How does MN have better utility than RDM? Contagion only gives 10% magic damage up and devotions is only for a single party member. The 10% physical damage buff RDM offers is much better even if it has diminishing returns. Both SMN and RDM can battle res and RDM can do it faster if more than 1 person dies.

we're going to ala mhigo because ilberd made it look like the eorzean alliance had attacked Baelsars' wall and we moved troops into the shroud in case of garlean aggression from the wall.
