Best controller.
steam controller is symmetrical and the only thing that could make it better is replacing the shitty useless stick with a nice functional d-pad
Meh, i prefer ps4 controller. My hands are symmetrical, why would the controller be otherwise? Not that the xbox controller is bad, or that it makes any real difference either way
>>378888342
The only correct answer is sticking to the layout that makes the most sense for the types of games you play.

I like the Switch Pro Controller. I like the PS4 controller. Stick layout doesn't fucking matter.

>my hands are symmetrical, why would the controller be otherwise?
For most of the games I play, my right hand is on the face buttons more often than the right stick, so staggered sticks usually results in a more symmetrical hand placement.

digital triggers

My hands are symmetrical but my dexterity is not.

False.

if you're playing any kind of 3D game, you definitely aren't using face buttons more than you are controlling the camera. And speaking of this 2D, 3D argument, i thought it always was symmetrical was better for 2D because you use analog more than sticks.

Is this loss

>no analog triggers
>worst stick placement
>useless tiny face buttons
Fuck off dylan

I'm a PC user, so most of the games I use controller on are
>cuhrayzee action games
Attacks are mapped to face buttons, camera is mostly locked on
>souls
Dodge is mapped to B, also has lock-on
>platformers
Sometimes D-pad is better and you'd have a point, but in those cases M+KB works fine
>twin-stick shooters
Only time you have a point, but these aren't very common and I can still use the D-pad to have a symmetrical placement
Only time I can think of the camera being more useful is in a twin-stick or FPS.
