Does /v/ say gg when you won and you know it was actually a bg?
MY PARENTS ARE DEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDD
>>378886160
If they were being assholes I'll throw it in there to make it sting. Other than that I only say it if they do.
>>378886160
/v/ never wins
>fag says GG no RE
>report him
>see him on the Overwatch forums a few days later bitching about his ban
>mfw
I'll say GG as long as the other players weren't pricks.
Always say gg, it's love shaking hands at the end of the game.
You have to pretty sensitive to take offense to good sportsmanship
>>378886160
>Talking in multiplayer games
if gg i say gg
if bg i say bg
>implying its gg when one team completely rolls the other
the word has lost its meaning
It's never a good game when we have a Widowmaker on our team
>>378886160
I never say GG first.
If you won, it's demeaning to the loser. If you lost, the other faggot knows he won why the fuck should I tell him GG too.
>>378886929
You've never played sports
Too many dumb cunts use it to mean "I won". It's only acceptable when the loser says it to concede defeat.
>win in a steamroll
>someone says gg
>i reply "it was ok"
Most of the time no one responds. But every once in a while you get some major salt.
>>378886160
I just say izi every game regardless and see the butthurt flow like waves in the ocean
I say well played in team chat if anything
>>378886728
>>378886826
What makes other players pricks?
>>378890038
Having them scream at me about how I'm a nigger faggot the whole time and how I'm not playing perfectly in sync with their character when we're playing random unranked matches.
no because gg means get good and if they won then they're better than me
Nah I just leave when it looks like we're about to lose. I don't care about rank or points but I'd rather not sit through the results screen. Life would be better if more games just has an insta-quick rematch option.
>>378886929
Well for me it always was and will be, since the good old SC days: "glhf" and "ggwp".
To me its just good manners, like shaking hands with your opponent. Like a promise to play to the best of your ability and not to bm each other. Even if its a stomp, I tried my best and he did too, so it was good training and a good game.
When I win (which, by the way, is most of the time, let me tell ya) I say nothing. If I lose I say ggez. Works every time
yep i always do on dota 2 after i win a match gg or ggwp, but the peruvians i usually got paired with start to say
Ez, Ez mid, haha xdxdxd noobs
you get the idea
>>378886765
what the duck does any of this mean?
>>378886160
I always post :^)
Always.

Why is global chat even a thing in team based games?
I only break out the rage bait if I spot tryhards in normal play, the ones who feel the need to get vocal and talk shit about their team and narrate their problems to strangers online. The type where you can smell the razer products off their breath. """""Gamers""""" are the worst fucking degenerates on this planet, even worse than savage tribes and terrorists. They deserve the primest grade of grief possible. Every person I know irl that rages at games, especially non-competitive mode, is an intolerable retard.
For the past few months no matter how a multiplayer game goes I end with "infowars.com". I don't type anything else, it usually gets interesting replies.
It's always a GG if I win. I don't need to be in a 50 minute stalemate to have a good time
Not if they cheesed, no
I always say GG. I didn't even know that some people didn't like it until recently. Reading the rationale was fucking stupid as well.
>The Winner shouldn't say it
>what if the opponent doesn't see it as a good game
>It could be considered rude
Motherfucker I'm saying good game. Anyone who can't take that to mean anything short of sincerity is retarded.
>>378892416
Yeah, I feel you on that. I still gg'd even after getting six-pooled in bronze. I miss SC.
It's a nice culture
>>378886160
>win game
>type "gg; sorry for rough match"
>enemy fucking loses their mind in after game chat
>next game say "gg was fun"
>enemy fucking loses their mind in after game chat
>next game say "gg gl next game"
>enemy fucking loses their mind in after game chat
>next game say "gg"
>enemy fucking loses their mind in after game chat
>next game say nothing
>enemy fucking loses their mind in after game chat
truly the winning move is to not give a shit about sportsmanship
>>378886160
I say gg when I lost.
>>378886160
Saying gg has become a way to shit talk for a good number of people. It's almost lost its original meaning. I'm not too surprised it's seen that way because a good number of people like to say that only when they win or due to people adding other unnecessary shit to it like ez or no re. Typing the entire thing, "Good game" instead of just "gg" might help a little in showing that I don't have ill intent, but I just try to avoid saying anything on a win to play it safe.
>>378886160
I've been using reverse psychology quite a bit because every game has been so fucking same-y. At least I have satisfaction in knowing that my game playing behavior and socialization has caused others to re-evaluate themselves with some level of awareness at whatever level of intensity in conjunction with their level of play and choices.
tl;dr get good
>>378886160
I say gg and cry.
Matchmaking was a mistake. I miss the days where all your gaming online friends would congregate in the same server.
Now nobody ever sees each other ever again so nobody cares about being a good sport.
>>378886160
I never say GG. If the match was good I'll type out something about how the match was great and I hope we can play again soon or something of that like.
